AKSA 100N grounding question
« on: 19 Nov 2003, 06:16 pm »
I'm going with a wood enclosure first because I don't want to attempt a metal one right now. My question is where do I hook up the ground wire? I'm referring to the third wire with the mains that goes to the wall. Also, do I need to worry about running ground to the heat sinks as they are insulated by the wood.

Sorry if this has been covered before. I just find this forum a wonderful resource. Thanks in advance for anyone kind enough to reply.

Thanks,

Jim

Hi Jim,

Hook 'em to the heatsinks, and any metal plate you have elsewhere in the enclosure!  Nothing more.....  That'll do it fine!

Cheers,

Hugh
