I found one last quad of GE6550A. These are new (unused) welded plate types.

At this price, it's a great, longer lasting alternative to Russian KT88.

Last chance to score before they wind up on Ebay.

These are a better choice than 60.00 per tube Russian KT88. They sound better and will last longer.

Im intersted but Im waiting on some payments from ebay stuff. I know these are classics but havent done research yet as to how they sound compared to the moders KT88s (chinese) any ifo would be appreciated

I can tell you they will last a LOT longer than Chinese KT-88, and they have better bass slam. I've got a quad that has heavy use (well over 1000 hours), and they still measure as new, with very little getter flash wear.

The only reason I'm selling them is that I've come into a lot of NOS Tung Sol's, so I'll never get to use them.
