The Stage One was Aragon's last and most advanced processor. It's features, sound quality, and ease of operation made it one of the top rated processors on the market. It has true analog pass-through for both 2-channel and 7.1 analog inputs. That way you can take advantage of the new hi-rez formats from a blueray player without corruption. For digital processing, it automatically decodes DD, DTS, THX Surround EX, DTS ES, DTS NEO6, and PRO LOGIc II. It has THX Ultra2 processing, and has DSP processing for converting 2-channel to several different multi-channel environments. It has 24/192 A/D and D/A converters for each channel, and also makes a great outboard DAC for 2-channel if you have a good transport. The Stage One comes with a Philips Pronto Neo touch screen universal learning remote for controlling your entire system.
