Hi All,

I went searching and asked about Horn speakers on a few sites but so far not much feedback.

So I will ask here.  I would be very interested to hear from anyone as to what they think are the positive and negative aspects of Horn Loudspeakers. Some are obvious obviously and some are not.

Topics of interest would be Compression Horn drivers (JBL) vs Dynamic drivers coupled with Horns (Avantgarde). Flared Horns vs Conical Horns, Folded Horn Bass vs Dynamic Driver Bass, Horn material, Driver material etc. and how they relate to sound quality.

WOW -that's quite the project.

What will the finished product look like (2way, 3 way) and what drivers are you using?

It a system with a single driver, the Fostex 206E.
