SOLD : SP Tech Timepiece 3.0
« on: 18 Oct 2008, 05:32 pm »
I recently ordered a pair of SP Tech Timepiece 3.0 in walnut from Bob. But due to change in priorities i've decided to drop the idea of an audio system for the time being.
Its MSRP is at $5495, and you can have them for $SOLD.00. According to Bob, they are about 4 weeks away from being completed.

I built a pair of stands as per Bob's specs just for the timepieces. You can see the pics in my other ad for infinity beta 20.
http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=59509

You can have the stands for $75.00, if you are local to Dallas.

Here are a couple of the latest pics sent by Bob. Speakers are ready to be shipped.

Edit: Speakers have arrived!!

Rajiv is a great guy to work with,  I just purchased a sub from him.  Very good guy and very nice speakers!

Thanks for the plug, Guy!  :thumb:
I'd ideally love to hand these speakers to a fellow ACer.

Just to make things a bit sweeter for a local buyer, i'll include the pair of stands (24" tall) that i built specifically for the timepieces for FREE! And also you can have the 4 acoustic panels measuring 2'x4' that were built in anticipation for them as well. 2 are made from 3" OC703 fiberglass, and the other 2 were made from 4" rockwool. They are covered with offwhite burlap.

WHat kind of power (watts) does it take to drive these?

Any photos of similarly finished speakers from SP that can be posted?

I'm guessing that they'll look very much like the Mini's that Goosepond has. Except of course, they'll be bigger  aa
As for power, i'm told that they are kinda hungry - I'm thinking atleast 150w x 2.
