Dual mono design.  The wood sides are sanded, but unstained so you can match whatever's around.  The chassis is very solid - 1/4" aluminum and no scratches.  It's like this, but a straight power amp http://www.audiosector.com/chassis_integrated.shtml.  The transformer is a Plitron.

I prefer the vampire binding posts I've put on here to cardas.  The amp dead quiet - most gainclones will hum on 90dB sensitive speakers, but this is dead quiet on 95dB speakers (the highest sensitivity I heard).  The sound has a very alive fast quality to it.  Compared (by myself and various people in Pittsburgh) it to various marantz, odyssey audio, other gainclones, mid-level tubes (onix sp3, sophia electric el-34) and it comes out on top.  Asking $750.  Let me know if you have questions.

Wow, that's a ridiculously good deal on an insanely good amp.  I wish I could afford it.

how does this rate against F3?

Haven't heard the F3 in particular, but the sound is generally "meatier" the Pass amps I've heard.  That's a very relative term though, because I'd say both amps are more sprightly/fast sounding than the majority of ss stuff I've heard.

I have the Audio Sector Patek Int amp and it is wonderful sounding... I wish I knew about Peter Daniel's great sounding amps years ago I would have been off the merry go around years ago...I had tubes for years and preferred the Patek int amp...IMHO

Folks this is a great deal and a steal of a price  just hook up a quality pre and you are set to go..

I would snatch it up in heartbeat if I had the extra funds laying around...

Best of Luck with the ongoing sale  who ever picks this amp up won;t have to look for another amp for a long time!! IMHO

Danged economic collapse! I can't spring for it, either. Looks great, though.

Are you looking for a straight sale, or are you entertaining trades?

Are the components the standard Audiosector boards and parts, or does it have the deluxe components (Blackgate PS caps, Riken and Caddock resistors, etc.)?

Good luck,
KT

to clarify I am open to trades for other gear (not cables or preamps).   Also have a Consonance opera reference 6.6 and a winsome mouse if you want to do some sort of package deal.  http://www.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?intatube&1229398769&/Opera-Consonance-Reference-6.6

I thought this was $600?  Did the price go up?
