Anybody have any experience or pics using countertop laminate for veneer for speaker boxes?  I have an interesting project in mind and I have used regular wood in veneers, but never the firmaca and the like.

The outer shells of these cabinets are wrapped in Formica "Micro Dot".  If you are making bends like I did you can spec "V32" grade for your laminate which is thinner and easier to bend.

Wow, that looks pretty sharp.  How do you cut it?  Did you have to use any type of 'bending compound' like veneer to bend it?

That's cabinet carpet.

Attracts a lot of lint.

Cuts with a table saw or circular saw and bends with heat.  V32 grade will make a pretty tight radius, probably won't get it around a 3/4" radius baffle edge but I made a 2" radius without heating.
