the new hi def audio format by t.bone burnett? what do you think? will we all have to now buy audiophile dvd players?

Dunno much about it... his interview in Tape Op seems to allude to purchase once, and be able to access the music across multiple formats. Mellancamp's upcoming release will be the first from the label... will be interesting to see how the label fares... I'm optimistic.

it's nothing new really. Classic Records calls them DADs (cept some DADs are 24/96 and HDADs are 24/192 on the DVD-A side

having a name artist behind it probably helps the marketing effort tho
