i know there are a few classical chamber music fans out there. This CD is a no brainer. Great music, great performances, great recording. Amazon lists just one for sale, so act fast. (Virgin may reissue Mork's chamber recordings as they have recently many of his concerto recordings in a box set, but who knows?)

I just checked and the one available is an Arkivmusic CD-R. Then I checked Amazon uk looking for the real thing and there is one used original available for 100 British pounds. Yikes! That's around $180 American dollars. The Arkiv version is just fine,no doubt. Get one.

Update: Amazon now lists another new, and I assume original, copy that costs around $17. Someone should snap it up while it's still there.

Bumped for update. See above.

I've bought a lot of ArkiveCD reissues, never had a problem. Sometimes the jewelcase is a little flimsier than a major label release but sound quality is good. I'm sure they are just duping an original (under license.) ;)  Looks like a nice record.

I have a few arkive retreads, too, and find them fine, but they are CD - Rs, so, however you feel about that, they aren't made from a master tape. One arkive recording I have that sounds awful is (spelling alert) Canteloube's Songs of the Auvergne, sung by Anna Moffo, Stokowski conducting from an RCA issue, circa 1965. It is unlistenable. I had the Lp back in the day, and it sounded nice, or so I thought at the time. It probably didn't really. I never heard the RCA CD issue, so can't comment on the digital transfer, but the final CD -R is terrible.
