Hard to find PRP values
« on: 9 Oct 2008, 03:00 pm »
Getting my parts list ready for the Coronet2.  I will be using PRP resistors throughtout as they are relatively low cost.
Only problem is finding someone who carries the 910 ohm and the 6.8k ohm resistors in the required 1 watt values.  I checked Parts Connexion and Sonic and neither have the 1 watt, only 1/2 watt.  Anyone know a source that carries the 1 watts?

I used the 1/2 watt. They fit better and I think you can getaway with using that value. There is no power going across those particular resistors.

SonicCraft has them.

As far as I know, PRP doesn't make a 910 ohm 1 watt. Yaego is fine in this position. If you insist on something better, go with 2 watt Kiwami. You can get them at http://www.partsconnexion.com/ But honestly, you won't hear a difference between a Yaego and a Kiwami as a grid stopper.
