Our major web site update is almost complete, except for a few bug fixes.

The new Insight solid state equipment is now listed.  This replaces the OmegaStar solid state line.

The new November, 2008 price list is also posted, available on the web or as a .pdf download.

The new prices go into effect as of November 1, 2008.

For your convenience, the 2006 price is also still available as a .pdf file from the home page.  You may order from the 2006 price list until November 1st.  Note that for Insight products, use the equivalent OmegaStar prices from 2006.

We hated to raise prices, but our cost for materials and labor has gone up even more than the average price increase listed.  Had to do it or just quit offering most products.  I love this business, but I can't do it for free.

Looks like you'll be able to get a complete Insight rig (DAC, SL preamp, 240 amp) for around $3000.  That's still a great deal if you ask me.

We appreciate your dedication. We appreciate that you always look at the big picture, that you're always taking cost into consideration within the framework of building very musical gear. If it needs 12 output devices, it doesn't have 6 or 24. Engineering that is spot on. In a throw-away culture, I've probably bought my last chassis. It's a win, win, win, situation, no wasting raw materials and filling up landfills, and one of the VERY PRACTICAL ways of keeping costs down.

You make it possible for many of us to have that state-of-the-art sound that we wouldn't be able to afford without AVA.
