Hey!
My mother watch Thai TV shows via the net. So, not long ago I bought her a laptop for this.
I'm really an Apple guy. But I just can't justify spending over $1K for a Mac to be use for watching Thai soap shows only.
So, I got her a Toshiba 15" laptop for about $550 with S-video out. But it never seems to work right. The streaming often freeze and sometime doesn't play at all for some program. And after so much tapping on the pad, the pad now doesn't work.
Now I don't know what to do. I'm just sick of having her call me every time there is a problem. I don't know, should I get the pad fix or buy her a new computer? Another PC? I just don't have money for this right now
BTW... my 4 years old Apple PowerBook G4 still working fine and could play the video from that site without any problem. Maybe I should have bought her a used Mac at the first place I think.
