 I have a chance to purchase a 2245 from a antique store. They want $110.00
for it in good working cond. it just needs some bulbs and cosmeticaly it is in fine shape. Is the power rating 45 watts per? I know nothing about vintage stuff, does that seem like a good price? Thanks to all that respond......

It is the 2200 series (built in Japan) and does have a 45 watt RMS per channel power rating. Perhaps not a bad price, but remember it's from the mid '70's and could fail at any moment. I own several vintage marantz receivers and enjoy them,  but you must understand that they can kind of go poof at any moment.

If it comes with a walnut cabinet (worth $100 on ebay), it's a good buy.
