This is an excellent player and an outstanding CD transport. Smooth and analog like sound yet very detailed.
It uses the top loading rugged Philips CD-PRO2 transport found in many top high end players, with a total of 6 independent power supplies using premium parts throughout.
It has a Tent labs XO3 clock with S/PDIF out.
The chassis is black, made from thick aluminum plates. It's super rigid.
$680 o.b.o.

I'm in Bloomfield, NJ (NYC area).

PS: this unit doesn't have analog balanced outputs. Only the analog RCA plugs are operational.

FWIW, I use a CD-PRO2 transport that bested several more expensive and modified transports. For those who still spin CDs, this is highly recommended.

Although I haven't seen this particular piece, I have seen other examples of Julien's work, truly impeccable and I am truly jealous  :thumb:

Hi,

This is not the Tent Labs kit, but it has a Tent labs clock in it. The clock replaces the original one in the CD-PRO2 mechanism and also outputs S/PDIF via RCA (or BNC).
The unit is about 3 years old.
If you click at the "gallery" link (down in my signature), you'll find photos of the inside of the unit.
Thanks,
