OK, I admit it, I'm an idiot. I had my DeCapos out of my system for a couple of weeks and now I've forgotten if the correct placement of the mirror imaged pair is with the tweeters towards the outside or towards the inside.

Help a poor slug out here guys! Which is the recommended placement?

BTW, I'm currently listening to my friend's Coincident Patial Eclipse mkI. Very nice too!  A bit more extended on the top end vs the DeCapo. More bass too, but not necessarily better!

Why don't you try it both ways and see if it makes a difference?

Doesn't the serial number on the back of each speaker end in "R" or "L", identifying which is right and left?

Not that I'm aware of.  And if Paul knew of one, I'm sure he'd deny it...

I own the newer version of the MM De Capo's and the serial # does indicate which is right and left.  However, you are supposed to place them with the tweeters on the outside firing straight forward (no toe in!).

Phil and I are not related and we don't even know each other.  Another coincident is that do you know Golden Tube's designer is also called Joseph Lau and people confused with ASL's Joseph Lau.
