Please pick one option from each of the six feature categories:

- Power Rating
- Stereo vs Monoblock
- XLR/RCA Configuration
- Price Range
- Factory Direct or Traditional Dealerships
- Amplifier Finish

This will really help me get an idea of what folks on AC are looking for in future Red Dragon Audio products. If you have any questions or suggestions please post them here or you can send me an email directly: ryan@reddragonaudio.com

Thanks!   aa

I would also like to know if you can design a Hybrid Monobloc's amps (Class D & Tubes)? Can it be done?

Thanks,

Gary

I've listened to Red Dragon monoblocks a couple of times.  I have always felt the final price has to be more approachable, even if it means doing away with the nice chassis, monoblock expenses (and associated power cord expenses), and very high power (which many of us don't really need).

I've got my eyes on the new Nuforce Ref 8.5 V2 stereo amp FYI..

Gary that's a great suggestion and one that I have strongly considered.  At this time I simply recommend the use of a quality tube preamp (like the 36.5 from Modwright) with any of my current and future production amps.

If however you wanted to build a custom amplifier with a tube input stage we can definitely work out a solution.   :thumb:

Hi Jon,

Thanks for your input and feedback on this poll - I really appreciate it.  I definitely want to offer products that are more affordable.  This will be possible through modest chassis design and lower power.  So far this poll has be leaning towards a 200 watt stereo amp and possible 400watt monoblocks.  We'll see how the trends go in this poll as I'm sure it will turn out to be very helpful in my decision on the next couple products.

Thanks!

Looks like we want metal finished, 200 watt, mono blocks, factory direct for only $1500.
