I currently have a 9B-SST with 3 channels. I need two channels and wondering if I could simply insert two 9B-ST modules into the chassis. Will this work? Is this a supported configuration?
Reason I ask is that I've seen some hybrid 9B-ST THX amps where the owner swapped out two ST channels with SST modules. So they connect the SST modules to their L&R speaker while using the ST modules for the rest. Now I'm just wondering if it works the other way around too. ST modules into a SST chassis?
