Cheap Drawing software

Anyone know of some cheap drawing software?  This would be used to draw listening room pictures.  A "graph paper" feature would be nice to place furniture to scale in the room.  A tool to draw blue print type pictures would also be a bonus.

Thanks for you help.

do you want this for a one-off project? or long term?
if only short term, there is plenty of free time limited demo versions of home design software on tucows or whatever your favourite demo download site is... something like this perhaps?

or this list for you to search through:

long term use and cheap? hmm... well I'm in SE Asia, so even autocad 2004 with all the add on packs is out here for a measily US$4 or so   :?
sorry I can't help you more than that...

Thanks for the help, Echidna.

I also should have mentioned easy to use  :D

I down loaded one to try.  Will take a bit of time just fingering it out.

The more I think about it I need something with a grid that you can draw shapes and text on.

Visio is good for this. If you have a Microsoft subscription at work, even an ancient version will do just fine for you.
