I saw some ad's for what appear to be new products from California Audio Labs. But they closed up shop a few years back, didn't they? Has anyone heard of them relaunching the brand?

In April, their parent company finished liquidating assets as part of their bankruptcy. They closed CAL early on in their troubles. I haven't heard anything else lately. .

I found an ad that sure looks like it's for new CAL stuff. The link:
http://www.elegantaudiovideo.com/calssp.htm
Does this mean they're back? Or is this not actually new? There's also a 5 x 500 Watt amp listed...

That's the Cal Labs CL-2500 SSP that came out in 1999-2000. I think you can still buy these brand new for 2500. Still one of the best sounding processors out there today. It's a real shame Cal Labs is OOB. They had built some really good sounding gear.
