For the life of me, I don't know why she put it on a Christmas album - it's not that type of Hallelujah.

I'm partial to the John Cale version - the Scrubs soundtrack has a live version from John Cale that's quite nice, but a studio version from him seems to be hard to find.

I'm a sucker for female vocals too so I figured you might like that. At this moment I can't think of a song/ performance that rivals that one, I might be overlooking something, but still that's a really awesome piece.
