Did Omega do a 4.5" Alnico Drop in replacements?

Cant seem to find it on a search. Could be that im a doofus but did Louis make a 4.5 alnico upgrade driver. I have a pair of super 3 narrow standard hemps. If so what is the msrp on the replacement drivers?

No alnico 4.5" as of yet.  :nono:

But I'm hoping that happens one day as well.

Word is the 4.5s would be prohibitively expensive to construct, pushing the price point of the XRS/Super 5s up, up, up...

But, like el dub, I'm hoping LC finds a way to get 'em made...

I own the Super 5's w/ Hemp drivers here, but I'm interested in the improvements with the Alnico. Any word yet on if this will be an option, for new or existing speakers? I'm not going to tell LC how to run his business but you could offer 2 versions of the speakers with 4.5 in drivers if price is a concern.

In the old days I did have 4.5" alnicos from Fostex and they were pricey.

I'm really exploring this and if all goes well I will get it done. If I stay with the stock basket it will be a lot more economic to do. If it goes cast frame, I’ll need to take out a second mortgage.
