Audiologic 34MXL DAC from the genius of Jerry Ozment. This is a world class tube DAC. It uses 2 6922/6DJ8 tubes - I'll include 2 NOS Sylvania/Phillips tubes that are recommended by Jerry and voiced with them. It's in excellent condition with the exception of 1 missing screw. It's somewhere and I'll ship to buyer when/if I find it No scratches or marks. Retail is $5000 for the stock unit - this unit has the $400 optional glass input and $400 balanced outputs = $5800 with options. In addition the unit was modified by David Schulte at the Upgrade Company with his SOTA Reference upgrade. Among his upgrades were installing new wiring along and Black Gate caps and EMI/RFI shielding. The price of the mod was $2000.  Retail with options and Upgrade company mods = $7800 - sell for $2900.  The unit comes with the owner's manual and an insert certifying the upgrade done by The Upgrade Company. Unit is almost 2 years old. Works perfectly. I've had many DAC's including the 24MXL and this 34 is in a league of its own. The 34 is considered by many as one of the best DACS available.

I'm also selling a Marigo Apparition 5.7 1.5M RCA(actually upgraded by Marigo to 5.8 status which involved resonance control to the ground covers - but still labeled V5.7) - you can check with Marigo to verify. The Marigo has a special synergy with the 34MXL - I've tried about 7 other cables and this was by far the best. Paypal prefered - buyer to pay shipping.  Retail $1140 - sell for $525.00.  PM/Email for pics.

A couple of questions:
1)  How much?  (i.e what is the asking price of the DAC??  It's never stated, only the cable price is.)
2)  the math in your first paragraph is confusing.  You mention $7800 total list price w/options, but then mention adding a $2K mod. Don't you mean $7800 total AFTER the mod (i.e $5K plus $400 plus $400 is only $5800 stock w/options, not $7800)

A really good DAC and a very good price. Someone got lucky.

Too bad tdangelo got ripped off by the Upgrade Co.

The Upgrade Company has no record of upgrading this dac nor of doing any work for a Tony Dangelo.  Our silver+blue foil "SE" upgrade sticker does not appear on this dac, nor is our "Signature Edition" upgrade certificate in the photos or described.  It is also missing the WBT NextGen Silver RCA jacks we always install on the RCA analog outputs during our "Signature Edition" upgrade.

Our fee has been $999 to upgrade the Audio Logic 34MXL balanced edition, with an option for MunDorf Silver+Gold+Oil capacitors instead of the V-CAP OIMP's we normally install.   We have never had a single complaint on any Audio Logic upgrade, only praise.  It should be obvious this is a phony post.
