Some folks here at Audiocircle have commented that I have "overpriced" some of the tubes I have listed for sale. I don't think that will be the case THIS time! (lol) While I can't give you "champagne on a beer budget", this is more like "Good beer on a soda pop budget!" See if you agree.
Here is a factory-matched quad of Electro-Harmonix EL34EH tubes.
I have five of these quads available. I am limiting this sale to US residents ONLY because I want to include shipping via USPS Priority Mail at no additional charge. Shipping outside the US would simply be cost-prohibitive. These tubes have NEVER been installed in ANYTHING since they left the factory. I am NOT going to test these tubes any further than the factory did. If there is a problem, I will replace them, or refund your purchase price, along with any additional amount necessary to return them to me. I HAVE used a similar quad for "burning-in" my Stereo 70 rebuild projects and they were indeed matched VERY closely. I would expect these to perform the same way. If you are on an EXTREME budget, this is the BEST way to replace an aging quad of EL34's I can think of. The price of $60.00 (including shipping) means that these tubes are actually going to cost you LESS than $13.00 per tube! This is well below the current "market price" for these tubes elsewhere. The ONLY thing cheaper that *I* know of would be Chinese EL34's. (If someone wants a set, I can supply some Chinese-manufactured, Amperex-branded tubes for less, but I have NO idea how well-matched they are, and I have no plans to rigorously test them to find out.)
