     (Sorry about the blurry image)  This is a NOS "True Mullard" 5AR4 rectifier.  It has a date code of B014, indicating 1970 production at the Blackburn, England plant.  Here is a picture of the date code:



     The box is in lousy shape, the printing has been rubbed a bit from the box, but the tube is absolutely NOS and has never been used (except to test it).  This is the later 7-serration plate version.  If this had been branded with another name, it would have been a few dollars cheaper, but as a "True Mullard", it simply has to cost a little more.  These things are getting REALLY pricey now.  My stock is getting lower and the price simply has to rise.

     Remember, if you are looking for a NOS British-made Mullard GZ34/5AR4, don't pay several hundred Dollars for one.  These tubes are getting pricier by the week due to demand by European and Asian buyers who are taking advantage of the weakened Dollar.  Price INCREASES are a sure bet.  Don't wait too long to buy one for YOUR equipment.
