This ad is for one pair of Audio Electronics (Made by CARY) SE811 Single Ended CLASS A Mono Blocks.
These amplifiers have been extensively modified by BWC (Bruce Wenger Consulting) and sound amazing.
The Mods include:
Converting to 572-3 Output tubes which take these amplifiers from 12WPC to 14WPC with 2-3 Watts of Headroom.
NOS 6SN7 Pre-Drivers, 5932 Sylvania Drivers
Cryo'd Precision 10 Turn Wire-Wound Front End Level (Volume) Controls (which enable you to run a CD Player Direct if so desired)*Please note the the analog volume pot displays which allow you to precisely match left and right volumes for a perfect balance every time when listening critically.*
Cryo'd Power Supplies, Transformers, Tube Sockets, Caps, Resistors, Wiring, and High Speed Diodes. Also, Input and Output Jacks which were upgraded to Vampire Wire.
These amplifiers produce an effortless and smooth sound with loads of detail and bloom. Over $3000.00 in modifications have been invested in these amplifiers and they a joy to listen to as again, I have spent numerous hours in front of them.
