Companies like Krell that jump onto the Ipod bandwagon send out 2 messages. One that it's "ME TOO" everybody..we like Ipods and then there is the rest of the product line-up that is anti-ipod, by it's design and nature. How can you have compressed music in one camp (there is debate on the term "loseless") and on the other hand not enough of them there bits to make it sound great. Opposing worlds colliding is what I would call it. Here is the board meeting notes at Krell " We don't want to sound like we're desperate, but we're desperate".
