I posted this over at the Vintage Asylum, but I spend more time here so I thought I'd ask y'all as well...

... and since my main HT/Audio system *still* isn't finished  :!:  I've wandered back into the bedroom...  :D

For that, I've finally compiled my dream vintage system consisting of a Mcintosh MX110 pre and MC2105 amp. I also have an AR ES-1 turntable.

I'm looking for a pair of late-model monitors that will sing with this setup and make it shine for what it is (vintage tube pre/tuner, 100W vintage SS amp and vinyl source - probably cd as well). This is for a master bedroom system and space and WAF is tight. They will need to be placed within 1.5 feet or so of rear and side walls. Open room area is around 12' X 18'

Also, should I hook up a cdp, any recommendations there as well?

Thank you!
