Maybe someone can solve this problem:
I have -
1.8 Dual G5
AVI adm9 active speakers
Connected via USB cable.
When I plug the speakers to my G5 it get a lot of static noise- on all 3 USB outputs. BUT!!!!........ when I connect my external hard drive that has a USB hub built into it - the noise goes away.
Another thing- listen to the same music (uncompressed aiff files) the G5 sound output sounds thinner than on my 2.16 MacBook.
Can anyone explain why this is happening? Does anyone know how to fix it?
