Has anyone done business with this company located in Brookline Mass. ?
They have some nice speakers and raw drivers ,but are NOT listed as an authorized Morel dealer...HMMM??? Any info would be appreciated....Are they legit or are they selling copies of Morel Drivers made in ???

To the best of my knowledge Renaissance Audio is not Morel - RA, I believe, used to be "Morel USA" and was affiliated somehow with Morel proper, an Israeli company.  I've read the finishing work on the RA products is not exactly stellar, although I have seen a pair of preludes that looked like they had decent but not quite Totem-level cabinet work.  Never heard a pair.

Actually Morel USA and RA were the same company, the 2 partners had a serious business  disagreement and went to court. They couldn't keep the same name so one chose RA and the other Morel. Driver specs and material looks the same from both companies. It may be that their products could be coming form the same source. I have purchased several RA speakers and  raw drivers and they are quite good. Mr. Shabani (Spelling?) is a pleasure to work with.

Thanks for the info.  Troy, have you heard the preludes?  They look pretty interesting - I've owned Morel car audio components in the past and really liked them.

Troy gave a pretty darn good summary. I ran Renaissance Raw drivers in car audio applications a long while back and they were indeed very good. When all the mess was going on I sourced the speakers from morel proper and for some reason thought the drivers were of higher quality in terms of glues, different spiders and slight back plate changes. I replaced everything from the Israel Morel back then.
