I was wondering about improving my piccolo. 
What are the modifications that would improve the sound of stock piccolo?  Any suggestion?

I've built a stock Piccolo as well.  I never bought the wallwart and am feeding it from a Bugle power supply.  As with most amp, it can benefit feeding better power.  My next step is to replace some caps.

Better caps will help.  The problem is finding something that fits.  Very tight inside the box.
