You know that giggle you get when your system sounds soo good you want to go out and commit crimes n stuff. Like rob a neighbor dressed as Santy Claws..

Ok seriously these cables are the real thing. I replaced my Zu Wax which I thought were the cats meow. Well what do I know. The Straleys opened up the soundstage, put air between instruments and well made them sound more "REal" .
Plus it added to the top end extension. I never really thought cables did that much, but I guess my system is to a point where its very sensitive. This cable is dope.

Any cable that isnt horrible or pretty good you can sit back, get used to the sound flowing and love it. Thats what the Wax did for me. Now listening to the Straleys I accustomed myself, noticing obvious differences and in the end these are better in every way! Plus its amazing the prices are about the same.

Caveat: I did have a problem in the beginning, the REalities didnt like a digital cable I owned, but once I swapped that out everything was copacetic.

These cables are music to my ears.

Did they not jive with the Morrow cable?

They didnt like the Stereovox XV2. The Morrow is the one that works great. With the stereovox the soundstage went all screwy and the upper mids were bowed out toward the listener and was extremely unpleasant. Everyones mileage will vary. The stereovox was a recent purchase and I just couldnt get it to sound good.

Mike, the Stereovox digital has a great reputation on the 'gon, but my experience was similar to yours.  The digital cable was the toughest one for me to work out.  Finally settled on the Pure Note Titanium.  I have an extra one of those (1.5M) if you want another free loan.  Just reimburse me for shipping.

I am using Straley speaker cables and paln to try the IC's.

The Straley's have to be one of the best 'bang for the buck' items out there.

Mike,

If you have the time, you should put this in the cable reviews section. If I wasn't scrolling in this part of the forum, I would've never thought there was yet another review on the Straley's cables. Of course, I  completely agree with your sentiments, see my system description below!

Best,
Anand.
