Marbles - never fear, any single malt Glen over the age of 12 years is never an oxymoron, unless possibly (though not definetly) when consumed with Glen Campbell.

no - an oxymoron is when any "american idol" stuff gets posted in the music circle...

I drank a can of Bud Light (somebody left it at my place and it was the only beer chilled) while listening to Opera.

That's OK woodsyi, I drank some Willamette Valley Pinot Noir listening to Billy Idol!

Wayner:

The BEST Pinot Noir I have ever tasted came from Knudsen Erath (sp?) in the Willamette Valey!  Fantastic with steak!

I had an Argyle Pinot the other day that was really good.  I really like Willamette Pinots from Archery Summit and Beaux Freres.  There are some bargain Burgundies out there too like 2005 (a great vintage) Geantet Pansiot Chambolle-Musigny V.V. which you can get for less the $40.   :thumb:
