Jamie,
As for food, you've got loads of choices. If you've never been before, you need to go to Blueberry Hill. they have tons of 50's and 60's memorabilia. Its actually very cool. grab a burger, basket of fries and a couple of cold ones. Good stuff and reasonably priced.
After BBH, Riddles has good food and a nice atmosphere. Brandt's is good too, as is Fitz's. Literally you've got choices from Vietnamese and Thia to Mexican to Japanese to Ethiopian, and thats not all. Here is a list of the restaurants on the Loop. They are all good and fairly reasonably priced so it really depends on what type of food you feel like this evening.
Food, food and more foodAll of these places are a short walk (about 1/4 mile) from the Pageant. My suggestion is to park in the surface lot behind Cicero's (free), grab dinner at one of the places (sit outside on the walk so you can people watch) then walk down to the venue.
The Loop is a great place to hang out and just be.
