Very nice. What drivers are in the MTM module?
Absolutely gorgeous. Overall sensitivity? Are the woofers active or passive?Best,Anand.
I know you're pleased..do this have the 'impact'/dynamics you've looking for?
How about some more closeups?
I wonder how different they are in sound to the Rc5g's, seems to be similar in MTM on top, 2 x 10's on base cabinet. Aside from the multiple cabinets, passive low end, I wonder if they would be very similar in their tone. What would the cost of these be?Rob S.

This is like a scaled-down version of the RC5 and similar in tonality. Chris can provide pricing for assembled pairs and he builds very nice cabinets.
MikeSomeone can correct me if I'm wrong but Bob uses the Aluminum Seas drivers in a ported hybrid transmission line config. The drivers in this Selah design are in a sealed BR cabinet. I also believe Bob uses an 8" driver in the Timepiece as well as the other models in his MR Series with exception to his newer Mini design. Having owned a pair of his speakers and listened to his Revelation & Continuum speakers a few times I can say that the only thing in common between the two is the cone material and beautiful bass output, other than that they march to a completely different drummer. The movement in the SP Tech woofers is almost scary, as you know, yet it's completely controlled and accurate but again this is in a ported TL cabinet. Bob's forum is probably a better place to get an explanation on this. The movement of the drivers in the TS3 bass cabinet and probably the RC5 as well, are very tight and punctual. I have only heard the larger MR series designs in Bob's shop, never in my room but I owned a pair of TP 2.1's not long ago and used them in my big room. I give the 2.1's a 10/10 for effort, but try as they may they could not fill my room with the bass I wanted. They did do everything else to my liking as does this new speaker from Rick.
I find it interesting that the TP couldn't produce enough bass for you, because I heard the nuforce s-9 in a large hotel convention room, and the bass it produced on Flight of the Cosmic Hippo was gut wrenching. And that used 6.5" woofers without Bob's hybrid tline. That was an eye opening experience for me.

Yeah I was just wondering if they had the same kind of movement. But I guess that is a design choice. I believe the mini uses a 6.5" driver. Anyways I was just looking for movement comparison. Thanks, btw!I love the rounded edges and the 10" drivers must kick serious butt!Mike
