Clarification fwiw as I read the Agon info - The T-8 noted are mono-block power amps from a company named Transendence. There is however a Super Pas 3a SL I think it was, AVA pre listed in the tube amp section. It is noted as sale pending.

Guy's go to Audiogon search window, type in 'van alstine' & click GO,,,,, there you will see it,,,2.5 yrs. on warranty too,,,  I'd jump on this like a Duck on a Junebug but allready have one.  Better Hurry,,,,jack

Most AVA on the Agon are overpriced. This particular one has no phono, therefore whoever bought it had paid too much for it.

The remote puts the price at 1398, so you're saving the 300 bucks (or so) for the remote. 

But I agree w/ you--the remotes not worth a used T8 for me.  I'd rather forgo the remote and buy direct.
