I have for a sale a Empirical Audio Turbomodded Northstar 192 DAC. Comes with original box, manual, and Empirical Audio invoice--if you want a copy. I've been using it with his new Pace-Car and Squeezebox and the sound is amazing. If you have the chance to use the I2S connection on the Northstar DAC do it, whether it's via a transport or Steve's computer based gear. The DAC is in 9/10 condition. I waited on Steve's mod list for 5 months before my turn came up. So here's your chance to bypass a reallly long, but worthwhile, wait. Looking for $1800.

Why am I selling? With the cost of everything going up, I've been short on cash. Until my financial situation gets back in line, I can't justify holding onto the DAC.

A pair of Reality Cables oxygen free RCA interconnects in great shape. $175 shipped.

75% + of some Walker Silver Contact Enhancer, which I'll throw in a trial pack of Quickersilver CD treatment. I just don't use it. $50 shipped.

This is a really great DAC especially if you can take advantage of the I2S interface.  I know; I, too, have one modded by Steve.  He is great with digital front ends if you can get him to do the mod.  It looks like Steve is spending more and more of his time developing his own gear and less and less on modification.    It means this will be even more valuable as he may not mod it much longer.    Good luck!
