Can you tell me if you listened for added electrical noise when the fans are running? I've thought of using a computer fan along this same principle, but I wouldn't want added noise.

I see that it plugs into AC but is that converted to 12v DC? Most wall wart type equipment does.

I need to cool a Pathos Classic One MKII and Herron Phono Pre-amp.

First, I appologize about not getting back with sooner.
I detected no added electrical noise.
These fans are not your average CPU cooling fans. They are astoundingly quiet.
As to BRM's comment, I have no experience with his claim.
