Just seeing if anyone local had any interest in a swap. I'm moving my main system into a much smaller room and have been thinking I might not need the high power / large componet set up I'm currently using. What I have is an Anthem Pre 1 preamp. The Anthem has been upgraded with silver wiring throughout. Looks? It's a strong "9" with the following exceptions: There are some pretty nice scratch / gouge marks on the BOTTOM of the preamp. Face, sides and top look nice and minty. The four screw in feet are missing. I use four little isolation cones under it and they work fine. Look good too! I would include the cones in any trade. Very nice sounding preamp. The amp is an Adcom GFA 5500. 200wpc powerhouse. The Adcom is an easy "8" on the Audiogon scale. No issues, looks and sounds fine. I'd like to see if anyone within driving distance to the Baltimore area would have any interest in swapping outright for an integrated amp. The room I'm moving my system into is small. I need neither the power nor the size of these two componets in this room. Pretty much interested in anything that is at least 50wpc, remote controlled and, last but not least, sounds good. Not going to ship. Anyone interested? Let me know what you have!
