For Sale: A Vandersteen speaker classic. Offering price reduced to $900. These full range, time aligned and phase coherent speakers are in truly excellent condition. These have cherry caps w/ black socks, no tears or scratches but I have very conservatively rated these an 8/10 on the Audiogon scale.
These speakers will be sold with sand filled Sound Anchor stands.These are consistently high rated speakers by Stereophile, Absolute Sound, and others. They are extremely well cared for, in excellent operating and cosmetic condition. They sound wonderful.
Sound Anchor stands with pikes, Vandersteen manual, and original boxes are included. I have a set of Polycrystal Jumbo spikes under the stands in the pictures. These are not included in the sale.
The 2CE Signature is the most recent 2-series Vandersteen model prior to the introduction of the 2Ce Signature II model, which currently retails for $2195/pair + cost of stands. So if you’re looking for previously owned and babied Vandy’s, these are an excellent value. I would prefer local pickup. I live in the Wilmington, DE area about 1 hour from Philadelphia, PA and 1.5 hours from Baltimore, MD.
