Best "Value" In-Wall Speakers?

Suggestions for "bang-4-the-$" in-wall speakers would be much appreciated. Not sure if I'm going to just do 2 front channels or 5.1 to an existing home, but in-walls are pretty much a necessity.

Definitive Technologies has some nice units. They vary in price from modest to ouch.

The best bang for buck I ever saw for in-wall speakers was when the local Fry's Electronics was clearing out the Polk rc60 in-ceiling speakers for $49 a pair a couple of years ago. I bought two pairs and installed them in the ceilings of two bedrooms. Far from fantastic sound, but more than adequate for background music. I'd also consider them for rear effects speakers in a 5.1 or 7.1 system, but not for the front. I've seen them advertised recently, but the price has gone up to $99/pair.

ty lashbrook of tyler acoustics makes fine loudspeakers and does custom work as well. he made up a 5.1 system for me (partial in-wall, 2-3" into room) for my ht setup that is fantastic and was very affordable (as these things go!). he's great to work with and uses the highest quality parts.

PartsExpress has a BUNCH of that type equipment. I don't recommend anything in particular, but there's quite a few options in their catalog.
