New Odyssey Monos and Candela
« on: 12 Jul 2008, 08:24 pm »
All,

I'm excited to say that my new Odyssey Audio "Glass Ceiling" mono and Candela preamp have finally arrived!  :D I started burning them in today and they already sound as good or better than the Krell equipment they are replacing. Klaus tells me it will take a few weeks for them to fully burn in. I am thinking of having a small get together soon to demo them soon. I will let you guys know.

so that's what you had up your sleeve.  aa
Glad to hear everything arrived safely and is already singing.
Can't wait to hear the C2's with the Odyssey gear.

Those amps definitely take at least 2 solid weeks, 24 hours a day to really get to where they are what they are. 3 weeks and they're pretty well cooked.

Can't want to hear them on the big Dyns

Hey Scott,

I will definately keep you in the loop as well. The monos are burning in now so in a week or two hopefully they will be settling down a bit. They are sounding pretty good already though. Very easy to listen to for longer periods but still offering plenty of detail.
