Hi! Bill Thomas here from the Dynaco Doctor Forum.  I have been acquiring NOS European and American tubes that are used in Dynaco gear, for well over a decade.  It seems to be getting harder and harder to even FIND the quality tubes (Like NOS Mullard-manufactured 5AR4/GZ34's and NOS Mullard-manufactured EL34's) you REALLY want, and when you DO find them, they are selling for incredible amounts!  Just take a look at Tube World or Vacuum Tube Valley for an example!  I am doing my very best to avoid the "greed factor" in pricing these tubes, but DO realize that this is not a "fire sale"!   I am simply trying to let you know that there IS a source for these tubes, at a FAIR price.

If you own any Dynaco tube-type equipment, I have the tubes you need to bring it up to the peak of operating condition.  (Sorry, no NOS Telefunken 12AX7's, but I do have some GREAT alternatives! A low-noise 7025 positively SINGS in a PAS preamp Phono Stage, or an FM-3 tuner!)

(7/16/2008 note: Response has been huge, so 7025 Stock is beginning to run low. All RCA's are now gone. Some nice Sylvania/Philips 7025's or 12AX7WA's [same thing]  are still available.)

Need a NOS EMM801 for your FM-3?  Tube World wants $250.00 for ONE!  I *know* Telefunken hasn't made them for over 30 years, but they really aren't THAT rare.  I have a few dozen in stock.  Some are in white boxes with military markings (I wonder what the US Military used them for?)  and several in the original blue background Telefunken-printed boxes.  If you just want the NOS tube in a plain white Box, I'll sell them for $55.00.  If you want the Telefunken printed box (full disclosure: the Telefunken boxes are only in fair condition), the price goes up to $65.00 - Sorry.  If you're a member of the "Back to Mono" crowd and need a new EM84 for your FM-1 (without the multiplex adapter), I have them as well, but they're a LOT cheaper! Only $10.00.

It seems that the Guitar Guys have REALLY been driving up the price on NOS Mullard 5AR4/GZ34's.  Vacuum Tube Valley wants $250.00 per tube!  My prices on NOS Mullard-manufactured 5AR4/GZ34's start at $125.00 for Mullards that have been re-branded with names like RCA or GE.  These are NOS and in their original boxes!  (Box condition varies)

These prices are subject to change and supplies are limited.  As the stock dwindles, the prices will increase accordingly.  Satisfaction is guaranteed.  If you are unhappy with your tubes, simply send them back within 10 days and I will refund your payment.  Terms are USPS Money Order or personal check, however; personal checks will have to clear before tubes are sent.  Orders with USPS Money Orders will (usually) be shipped on the same day, or within 24 hours of receipt.  All tubes are guaranteed for 30 days - as long as you do not abuse them.  There is NO guarantee on tubes that show obvious or measurable abuse.  I reserve the right to limit quantities purchased.  No tube resellers please.  Insurance is REQUIRED on all shipping.

Thanks for taking the time to read this ad.  I hope I can be of service to you  Feel free to contact me at:

Hi, Guys and Gals I just wanted to report that I picked up a cherry set of vintage RCA tubes from Bill and couldnt have been happier! The dealing was great but the condition and price of the tubes were outstanding! In the time were we audiophiles have to pay super premium prices for vintage tubes its great to know that there are still a few like Bill that offer outstanding tubes at more than reasonable prices. I should probably keep him all to myself but it seem as if he has way more than I can hoard. Bill said he also has vintage Mullard ELs and rectifiers. Let me get mine first though!

In unpacking my tubes and inventorying what I have, I have FINALLY found my "stash" of 8417's!  If your Mark VI Output tubes are getting a little "long in the tooth" and a bit "flubberry",  NOW is the time to replace them while I still have good stock.

Also, I'd like to express my sincere thanks to pbrstreetgang for the EXTREMELY kind words (and EXCELLENT reviews)!  It is always a tremendous pleasure dealing with such a WONDERFUL person!

Sincerely,

Bill Thomas

I second the positive feedback.  I bought a NOS Mullard rectifier and it is perfect.  Great communication, shipping and follow through.  Great Job Bill!!!

My sincere thanks for the VERY kind words.  I can't TELL you how happy I am that I have been able to provide some really NICE tubes for a really DECENT price!

If YOU have a tube-type Dynaco product from the "Classic Period" then I probably have the tubes you need!  Just e-mail me with your needs and I'll see what I can come up with for you.

     Thanks for looking!

Sincerely,

Bill Thomas

Just a reminder, if you're looking for the necessary tubes to bring your Dynaco product "back to life", I can help you with most of the necessary items.  Stock is running low on 6550's and 8417's, but I still have a FEW left.  Otherwise, I have pretty good stock on NOS tubes for other Dynaco amplifiers, preamplifiers and tuners.  Just e-mail me at nostubesforyourdynaco@gmail.com for more information, or to get the ball rolling.  I hope I can be of service to you.

Sincerely,

Bill Thomas
