Any Junior Brown fans? For those that haven't seen him, he is one of those performers who simply has to be seen live to appreciate just how good he is. The studio recordings just don't convey what he can do.

I used to live a couple of blocks from a joint in Austin called the Continental Club.  Junior used to play there quite a bit in his days living in Austin and I always enjoyed walking over to hear him.

Saw him recently at Antone's in Austin.  He seriously kicks all sorts of ass live... studio recordings definitely lose much of his magic.
