It breaks my heart to sell this, but sometimes you got to do what you got to do when the taxman comes calling.
For sale is a hardly used MHDT Paradisea+ tube DAC. Mint condition - As New.
Extras included are:
2x WE 396A/2C51 tubes (1963 - date code 339)
1x GE 5670 tube (originally sent with the unit)
This is the latest version available and was purchased direct from MHDT Labs only four months ago. The unit is the upgraded model with USB input, a toroid transformer and the most recent opamp/dac chip revisions. Original packing was minimal but I will ensure the unit is properly packed for shipping anywhere. I even have the paper covers that came with the dac originally.
Original cost was US$599 + shipping for the DAC. The Western Electric 396A tubes cost me about US$80 on top of that (and oh do they make a difference!).
I am offering the unit together with the 3 tubes for SOLD. Tubes still available though as buyer did not require them Shipping anywhere worldwide via air mail is US$40 (I will only charge actual shipping rates - no markup). EMS trackable courier also available for slight additional cost. Payment is accepted by verified paypal.
The item is located in New Zealand and is currently set for 220/240v - however, it is no problem to change the unit to 110v (instructions on the MHDT site).
