And space between the instruments emanating from a black background with mondo depth and layering. Many veils are lifted and a clear window into the performance. all this of course with reduced grunge and lack of high frequency hash. Overall at least a 30% improvement- I guess that means the stock French horn could only play 70% of the original notes- hell it was practically broke and dysfunction instrument before the cryo process- next I am going to try the teleportation tweek and see if I cant get another 30% improvement so I can claim the stock French horn + cryo only played 70% of the notes it should- or maybe just say its 160% of a stock French Horn.

But in all honesty I do wonder what a french horn would sound like cryo'd.
I might try it..I'll think more about it tommorrow. I have a neighbor who teaches the french horn. maybe she has an extra we could play with.?

Sure, give me some time to arrange a load where I have room in the chamber.  The next couple of loads are going to be filled to the brim with my (and some other manufacturers that I do cryo for) wire and cables.  Shoot me an e-mail to [email protected], so I can file it and contact you when I have a load that will have room.

Hey Everybody,

Just heard about this thread and thought I would drop in. If you read any of the links that Lee has enclosed above you can read a more in depth review of the work he did on my horns. I was very impressed with the process and would recommend Lee's services without question. For me the DCT process took two new custom horns and gave the sound an aged sweetness that was very,very impressive.  I could not be happier with the results. Remember, with any new process there are critics but most, if not all that I have read, have never tried the treatment and their comments hold zero credibility.

I sure hope audiophiles don't start getting cryoed, they've got enough air as it is. It is a breath of fresh air tho to have a musician speak up about the benefits of cryogenics. Thanks for your insights Lee.

Man, I don't have an opinion one way or the other about freezing things (except my flesh in the winter) but wouldn't it be easier just to freeze the microphone and the storage media?

   Actually, I've met her a number of times (I used to live in Utah and she and her then husband did quite a bit of business with the company I worked for) and she always was very nice and gracious.  So, no, let's not cryo her.

I know cryo is a hot topic, and I'm not here to argue with people, I don't need the stress or headache, I have enough in my personal life at this time.  I use AC as a place to escape for a few minutes at a time, so I will not engage the wolves.

I am a skeptic by nature.  I hear a difference with cryo.  If one doesn't, more power to them.
