Just finished building a pair of A/V-3s for a friend of mine this afternoon. White oak veneer over 3/4" MDF with some extra bracing, etc., satin black baffles. No bases yet. I'll post pictures next week. Started listening to them around 1:30 and didn't want to stop. I was listening to "Wish You Were Here" as they started to open up.
Danny--What a fantastic speaker for the price! It's you-are-there realism puts my old B&W DM3000's to shame. Nice soundstage. My next set will be a Neo something. WOW!
