This amp is dysfunctional.  The light comes on but no sound comes out.  I don't know what its deal is.  Maybe a crafty electronics wizard can find the problem and swap out the rotten part.  Circuit boards and I don't get along.  I can look at them quizzically, maybe spot a blown cap here or there, but beyond that I'm at a loss of how to troubleshoot, even with this doodad with just one small board.  Thus is the fatal weakness in our electronics culture, those who cannot whip out soldering irons and navigate hairy parts catalogs are screwed.  :duh:  And it's one of those evil cheap things where the economics of getting it fixed doesn't make sense.

Anyway, I will include the busted amp along with a sealed 12V lead acid battery to run it and its charger unit for $40 + shipping  (no, it's not the battery which is dead)   I even added a second set of rubber feet sos you can set 'er on 'er side.  You can't hardly get that these days.  Or hell, maybe you can use the case for something else.  It's a nice case.  The charger works fine too.
