Although the model number had moved on from 3950 to 3980 by the time I became aware of Vinnies pioneering work with the Toshiba DVD player He was good enough to supply me with one to use with a Clari-T in my office system.
It was superceded by a squeeze box (also breathed on by Vinnie) and a RWA Monica DAC, so has languished in the cupboard for quite some time. The facia is unmarked and carries the Red Wine Audio moniker, but there is a small ding in the top plate close to the rear edge.

I don't have the original box but the unit is quite light and can be well packed for shipping without it costing a fortune.
Remote and instruction book are present and a standard IEC power inlet is fitted (no chord).
How about $125 plus shipping? No extra for paypal.
Collection from Rye (10580) is possible or I may be able to persuade a friend to bring it to his office at 42nd & 6th for a lunchtime handover.
