I was up to visit Louis at his shop back in March. As best I can remember, he was using what appeared to be a Nerf ball still in the plastic. Either that, or Nerf w/ that plastic "skin" on it. I'm sure someone will come along and give you a more accurate description (probably Louis himself) but I do recall him saying it wasn't anything fancy... I like a frugal person.

I do want to say that Louis was very accommodating, even on very short notice and that I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and listening session on Louis' rig. I really can't say enough positive things about Louis, his speakers and the way he runs his business. Thanks.
