Taking a page from Jim Salk's playbook, I need a new product line name for a new series of revolutionary solid state units to replace the OmegaStar line.

Unlike Jim's beauties, they will look much the same as now, only the insides are new.

We have perfected new solid state preamps, DAC, and power amps.  They are too good to just continue with OmegaStar Mark II or whatever, they deserve a new name and I am soliciting your help.

What's new?  The sound!  Zero "solid state" sound, you would never guess.  We suspect they are more musical in the truest sense than any other solid state equipment in existence, price not an object.  Not just an improvement, but a "fall out of your chair" experience.  Very close to the sound of our more expensive tube and hybrid equipment, but much more affordable.

Got an OmegaStar product on order now?  Not to worry, your equipment is already shipping with the new circuits, just without the final new product name.

P.S. #2  I have been thinking about "Ultimate" but some of my guys think this will be confusing with the Ultra hybrid series.  So this name won't win unless you come of with a reason that convinces the guys here who are not enthused about that name.

Given your statement pertaining to the improved sound:

I wouldn't hesitate to name them the "Transubstancial Series" as they  transform mere recorded music into the actual experience.

Alpha, or AlphaStar series.  To me it fits in line with the whole Omega/Greek thing, while also indicating that it sounds better than the Omega series.  See dictionary.com definitions below.   

Alpha:

3.   the first; beginning.

4.   (initial capital letter) Astronomy. used to designate the brightest star in a constellation.

Another thought. If the "Transubstancial" is a little bold then perhaps they would be better named the "Transfiguration Series" as it denotes and identifies many of the same qualities without going quite to the very limit.
